Our Process:

Every item used is selected for its quality and uniqueness. The wood is aged or kiln dried, and then brought into the shop to begin its transformation. We use various methods and combinations for each creation. Some of the methods used include, plaining, sanding, a patching treatment, and the addition of one of our finishes. While some of the designs may be repeatable, the finished product is always unique. We have our own kiln and sawmill, so everything can be done in house.

The Designers:

Ron Woodward is the owner and main designer for Of Burl & Board. Always having a love for the outdoors and creating things with his hands, he was inspired to begin making tables as a hobby after his retirement. After making a few tables, the work branched out to include charcuterie boards, and many unique décor items. There is no limit to his creativity!

This business is a family affair! Lauren offers consultation for dimensions and designs, if needed. She also loves making charcuterie boards,  lamps, coasters, and earrings.

We would love that too! Although we are not currently shipping our tables, we do have some smaller items that are available for shipping. Everything else can be purchased at our workshop in Georgia. Depending on the piece, and the distance, a delivery may also be possible.
